We left Sedan on Friday, December 7th 2007 at 8 o’clock.
Before arriving to Trier, we
stopped in Luxemburg at 10 o’clock for 15 minutes because we went to the restrooms. Next, we arrived in Trier at a quarter past eleven. Later, we visited famous
monuments. The church, the cathedral, the Porta Nigra, the Basilica, the Christmas market, the statue. Afterwards, we had lunch at 1 o’clock: Elodie, Dyna, Samia and Aurelien ate kebab,
whereas Marine ate chips. Zineb drank coca-cola. In the afternoon,
we visited the Christmas market where Samantha bought souvenirs, Samia bought a black and pink sweater at H&M, and
Aurélien bought big box of chocolate. Then, we met Mrs FAUVARQUE, who is a German teacher in Sedan, Mr HOULOT, Mr PILARD. We met in front of H&M at half past three and left Trier at 4 o’clock. Eventually, we arrived in Sedan at 6 o’clock.
In Trier, we spoke German.
(1) When you want a kebab, you say “ Ich möchte ein kebab”
(2) Please is “Bitte” in German.
(3) When you want to say thank you, you say “Danke”.

We visited the Trier market at around 11 am. In Trier, there are half-timbering houses.
The house was built in 1605 and is now a place where you can buy food. Harmony, the girl in teh background wearing chite glasses, bought herself a
kebab for lunch.

In the morning, we had to fill in a questionnaire about the Christmas market and life and architecture in Trier. From left to right : Céline, Anaïs and Mickael.
From left to right : Camille, Chloé and Soumahia. They were standing in front of Porta Nigra.

Aurélien and Christina, who is our beautiful German teacher's assistant, is walking through the Christmas market with Aurélien.
Our German teacher, Mrs Fauvarque, showed us a statue at the centre of the main place in Trier. Sonia, Aminata and Assietou paid a careful attention to her
comments which helped us finding information for the questionnaire we had to fill in.

In the afternoon, we went shopping : we bought gifts and souvenirs for ourselves and our families
We visited the city and took picture of a small red car. Téo smiled in front of it but did not dance Tecktonik. He might have been sick that day.

We all left at around 5 pm. We spent a wonderful day in Trier and we would like to come back later on.
From left to right : Harmony, Céline, Anais, Mickeël, Anthony, Aurélien and Malaury.
Thanx to to Mrs Fauvarque who spent a lot of time organizing the visit
